Behind the scenes

                            Who We Are

The Glass Resistance Network is an African American owned & operated business with a mission to build community and direct financial resources towards a more equitable future for everyone. We stand with workers worldwide in their struggle against imperialism and capitalism. We aim to make existence within these oppressive systems more manageable until the labor force is ready to strike back in the only meaningful way possible. A purchase from Glass Resistance Network supports our goal of creating a culture of caring. Thank you for being with us

                         What Drives Us

Cannabis was first re-legalized in California through the compassionate use act in 1996. In the decades since then reform has swept across the nation leaving a taxable product in its path. The cannabis industry brings in multiple billions in legal sales every year. While shareholders are lining their pockets by corporatizing the industry, there are jail cells full of people who were forced into legal slavery through the United States prison system due to cannabis. The war on drugs has disproportionately targeted people of color, especially Black Americans, even though statistically use among races is fairly consistent.
Over 15.7 million people have been arrested for cannabis offenses over the last two decades. As we move forward with legalization nationwide we cannot forget the trailblazers before us who sparked the light we’re walking in today

Full cannabis legalization is widely popular but the United States government refuses to comply with the will of the people, on this subject and many others. This system does not work for the people. Please see the links below for more information on who it does work for

Community is the new currency. Seek it out, build it, be it. Knowledge and coalition has always been our greatest collective power. Find a local chapter of larger organizations such as American Party of Labor (APL), Code Pink, BLM, Palestinian Youth Movement, USCPR, Answer Coalition, If Not Now, Jewish Voices For Peace, Socialist rifle association, Democratic Socialist of America (DSA), Party of Socialism and Liberation (PSL), or Peoples Power Assembly. If you’re interested in learning more about socialism before connecting with these groups in person, seek out the channel “socialism for all” on YouTube
